It is known for its distinct striped pattern, consisting of black heartwood with reddish to dark brown stripes that contrast sharply with the bright, reddish sapwood. The Xi3 Macassar ebony cutter has polished stainless blades. Xi knives are made of high quality 440 stainless steel with an HRC of 57. All Xi3 cutters are characterized by the same unique, ergonomic shape and a double guillotine, which gives such a powerful cutting performance in a simple crushing motion.
