After 20 years of collaboration with his father, Hendrik Kelner, Hendrik Kelner Junior decided to open his own factory, the “Kelner Boutique Factory,” in Santiago, Dominican Republic, in 2012. He wanted to bring his many years of knowledge, creativity, and passion to the production of fine cigars. Following the motto “less is more,” Hendrik and his small, experienced team of 15 cigar rollers develop high-quality cigars for discerning aficionados. Hendrik’s curiosity to continually work with new tobaccos is what makes “Smoking Jacket” so extraordinarily exciting.

For example, Pelo de Oro from Peru is used, and for the wrapper, select harvests from the Kelner family’s own tobacco plantations are used. Smoking Jacket Cigars have been successfully sold in the United States for years and in Europe for the last three years.
