Peterson Early Morning Pipe Pipe Tobacco 50 gr.

The following Peterson tobacco is one of a number of (originally) Dunhill tobaccos that have enjoyed great popularity for decades. All of Dunhill’s blends were characterized by a natural tobacco flavor. Artificial aromatizations were dispensed with then as now. In 2019, some of the (expired) former Dunhills were reactivated under the name Peterson. The mixtures were officially “bought”, the original brand name may unfortunately no longer be used. Conclusion: Same tobacco, same look on the can – only one word is different!

Peterson Early Morning – A mix of Virginia, different oriental varieties and dark latakia. It smells very balanced, today, earthy, smoky, floral. The Latakia is by no means in the foreground, but complements all components with an expressive feature. The cut is a typical English long-fibre loose cut. The moisture content is undoubtedly very high. Probably even too high, so it is recommended to dry the tobacco before smoking, or better still transfer it to a suitable tobacco vessel. Since the tobacco in the can is pressed quite strongly, you should loosen it properly before plugging. If it is loosened up, the plugging succeeds without any problems. 1-2 matches, re-stuffing (attention, the tobacco piles up strongly) and it works.
