In collaboration with mineralogists, a new lining was developed, similar to meerschaum, but also based on silicate. The brand-new, white “VAUEN lining” represents a logical evolution of the classic meerschaum lining and is characterized by its special properties, such as excellent fire resistance, food safety, and outstanding moisture absorption. It is also odorless and tasteless.
The high-contrast Lime series features a pipe bowl made of finely textured oak with a limed finish. The white silicate-based “VAUEN lining” not only enhances the smoking characteristics but also artfully complements the monochrome look.
